pirchewsky I love the darkness of this track, fading and appearing of the sounds. And the fact that next track is light and silly. Favorite track: Jesus, Carpenter Synth.
Tano

Tano as with much of pablos music, barn, work, slavery is a perfect mix of funhouse mirrors and a beatdown.
this album has it all. meathead acid? yea. fever dream electro? yup. shelley duvall? you bet.
Favorite track: Barn, Work, Slavery.

mfrankly The evolution of Pablo has been a longer and stranger journey which I'm happy to have been a part of for the past 9 years. Never one to be hesitant to make a radical reassessment and step outside society's idea of the "comfort-zone", this album sums up the feeling I had when moving to the city I now call home, Berlin. Thanks for the music, Beano! Favorite track: Jesus, Carpenter Synth.

about

New moniker, full album. WHY?

Arcadio was one of the names of my bis-bis-abuelo (great great grand father) who fought against the US in the war of United States aggression aka the Mexican-American war. He was rumored to be an 11x bigamist and had around 42 children. All this was revealed at his funeral. Alcalá is one of my family names. I am trying to connect the past with who I am, still unsure of my identity as a Chicano.

”I’m Still Alive“ is obviously about the mental health shit I am suffering pretty badly since late 2016. I survived and I feel pretty good as of a week ago. I’m a cucaracha person. Good at survival. This album is only out tomorrow because my mood suddenly broke like clouds or a fever and mixing down this album that has sat untouched for years suddenly became possible. In a day!

Musically it is a bit varied though more dance floor (mostly) than I oftentimes am. There’s some set pieces and humor and slow and fast clean and dirty. It represents me more than anything I’ve released in the last 15 years.

If you cannot afford the record but want it: WRITE ME! I’ll have lots of codes and want everyone to have it. Pay if you can, I have taxes, rent, hospital stay bill, and mastering to pay tomorrow 🤣 Money is stupid but music is an emotional salve. Sharing it is better than not.

💸Anyone who buys the album will eventually get the 4 track bonus EP: "I'm Still Alive CODA: "But I'm Still Not Doing OK" when it is mastered and available! 💸 & we hope that at some point it will be a physical release which those of you who buy this digital version will get at COST +s/h 💸

about

La Mission Berlin, Germany

We need to work towards flooding the market-even if for the moment only the intellectual market-with a mass of desires whose realization is not beyond the capacity of man's present means of action on the material world, but only beyond the capacity of social organization as it stands.

Oh honey, pls dont give yr heart to a world system based on exploitation of the luckless, give yr heart to US!
